Me attempting to play a microKORG. Sound was made from an init not a preset. If you're gonna comment about how I suck I'll save you some time and accept that I do. Now off you go, there's many other people go insult on youtube. Someone asked how I got that sound. Kinda simple. On timbre 1 I have osc1 at dig: wave 1 osc2 with a saw wave. a 24Lowpass filter On timbre 2 I have a sine wave on osc1 a tri wave on osc2 A highpass filter I got lfo1 going to the cut on timbre1's filter. lfo2 going to timbre2's filter cut. The delay is on triplet 16th and the arpeggiator is doing 16ths. The wierd sound at the end is just the delay going out of keysync mode to manual and turning the delay time down to the shortest time. I think that's it.

Track 10 - 'Submission' Music used: Main Theme Description for the remix: This is a ReMix from the AMERICAN FF2 (SNES), known as FF4 in Japan. You see, I learned my lesson. Never again will I offend the legions of FF fans who pounce at the chance to flood my inbox with (helpful) corrections with a dreaded 'version' mistake ^^ This is actually our first FF2 / FF4j ReMix, and it comes not from ffmusicdj or the usual squaresoft channels but from first-time contributor Isopropyl. And you know what? It's pretty dern good. Squeeky clean synth arpeggios with dat good ole resonance sweep thang. To explain: most synths have what are called filters, which control the amplitude of a given frequency spectrum. Lowpass and Highpass are the most common, filtering out high and low ends of the spectrum for a muted or gritty, telephone effect. But if you're lucky your filters also have resonance, sometimes referred to as simply 'Q' which is hard to explain other than it adds warmth to a filter and makes squishy, fun analogue effects. This ReMix uses Q nicely. Also gots nice backing strings and beat - nothing over the top here; a good, straightforward techno gig.

The Glen Finn Lass played on a slightly tweaked unpainted Clarke original tinwhistle. The airway is somewhat flattened and has a toothpick inserted diagonally. It works well if you can keep your breath under control. Sensitive. I read about the "tooothpick muffler" at the whistleshop.com. There was low frequency noise in the background so I ran this through a high pass equalization filter. This song is from Packie Byrne's wonderful music book " A Dossan of Heather".
