37087 & 37423 on 6m56 purring through Cheltenham on a Monday! About 30 seconds after they left my view there was an almighty GROWL, they must have been 1/2 a Km or more away from me with a busy road between us and still very audible, I must get the other side of the station for next time.

Was able to go to the DRS Open Day at Kingmoor Depot on the 11th July. Very enjoyable, great selection of locos to view and several were moved about the yard during the day. The shed was open and there was the opportunity to "cab" several locos. As well as representatives from every class operated by DRS, A couple of added extras included Colas Rail 47739 and the C50A 50049 At Kingmoor for new wheels. There was a raffle drawn every hour, the winner of which got to start up a loco. I actually won the 3 o clock one and went in the cab of 57010, the driver even let us rev it up a couple times which was v enjoyable. Didn't get that on tape sadly though a DRS lady did take some pictures of me pushing the button. In part 1 we have a general line up in the main yard with 57012 starting up. We then move round to see the 20s, 50049 and 47739 and then into the shed with 37s, 57s, and 66s lined up and 37603 separated from its bogies. A quick look at 66423 at the far end of the dept, then back to see the 20s and 37087 being marshalled around the yard and from the viewing site 50049, 66411 and 47739 are seen whilst running.
