This was a great day. I flew ridge for 2 hours straight, landed for a twenty minute break then went up again for an other 1 1/2 hrs. This definately squelched my "lack of thermal" blues. The weather was cold and biteing but fun just the same.

Long Way Too Happy chapter 7! =D Okay, well go figure, I'm up late-or early either way. So I got bored, so here it is! LOL Start time: 11:06 ========== [Lucy's POV] Okay, so he found out, and he's not doing anything? He wants to go to a carnival?! Oh well. I walked over to my bathroom and looked in the mirror. Ugh I looked horrible since I was crying. I heard knocking so I went downstairs, opened the door, let Joe in, and tried to cover my face. I felt a firm hand on my wrist. "Why are you trying to cover your face?" I felt something warm running down my face. I was crying, great. I felt him loosen his grip and he looked at me. "Lucy?" "It's um nothing..." I whispered hoarsly. I was crying because it was still hard to look at him. I had to live 2 years in pain and agony. I felt empty inside, and everytime something related to him, I would feel this burning (a.n so tempted to put Burnin' Up!) in my chest. "Babe, why are you crying?" Joe asked. Babe... I wanted to smile, but I just remembered how horrible I looked right now, and how Joe was back. That just made me cry even more. "Joe, look" I sobbed. "Let me go. I'm gonna get ready so we can go" He hesitated, but released. I ran upstairs and cleaned my face off. [Joe's POV] I wanted to talk to her about what happened... and about Mitchel. But when I saw her crying, I wasn't sure if I was doing the best thing. "Okay, I'm re- whoa" I looked and saw Lucy looking at me. "Holy shit" "What?" I asked, confused. "You look- wow" She smiled. I looked down at what I was wearing. Blue skinny jeans, black and white checkered shirt, and leather jacket. It was a new style I was trying out. I had contacts in, and I completley flat ironed my hair. Complete with black hightop converse. I looked up at her. "What?" I played dumb. "You look HOT!" She smiled. At camp, we had uniforms, so she never really knew how I dressed, nor do I for her. "Um thanks?" I laughed. "What happened to your old clothes?" She asked, looking at me. "I got tired of wearing them" I shrugged. "You got contacts" She smiled. "And your hair" She ran her fingers through my straight hair. "Wow" She smiled. "You like it?" "Love it!" She smiled. I laughed. "You don't look bad yourself" I smiled. She giggled, and we were off. Mitchel tagged along with us, and he wouldn't let go of my hand. I smiled. I really liked the feeling of being a father. I could get used to it. "So what happened after camp?" I brought up. She looked down at Mitchel. "Oh right" I laughed. "What about you? I lost contact with you..." "I went home, played video games, learned guitar, and all that" I chuckled. Mitchel was keeping calm for some reason. "Here, let's go put Mitchel on the merry-go-round so we can talk" She whispered. Luckily there was no line, so we put him on one of the horses, and me and Lucy sat on the bench two horses behind him. "So you know guitar?" She asked. "Yeah" I smiled. "That's tight. I do too" She smiled. Small talk, obviously not working. "Weee!" Mitchel cheered. We both laughed and I saw Carolina. "Do I have to hide?" I pointed to Carolina. "No" She smiled. "It's fine" I was shocked. "Is it because I don't look dorky?" "No, because I realized that my rep doesn't matter" She smiled. The ride ended and we took Mitchel and got off. I picked him up and carried him because I was scared he would get trampled. "Lucy?" Carolina asked. She was on a date with a different guy this time. "Hey" Lucy smiled. "Why are you here with... him?" Carolina asked, not sure who I was. "He's Joe" Lucy smiled proudly. "He's who???" Carolina said shocked. ============= End time: 12:14 xDDDDD LMAO! I loose focus a lot LMAO! Not much happened. It was more of a filler
