This is another of my video entries into the ScoreHero How Good Can You Sound Video Challenge, found here: http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11205 100% Gold Star Expert Vocals performance on Mr. Bridhtside by The Killers as it appears in Rock Band 2 for PlayStation 3. As per the rules of the challenge, the original vocals by Brandon Flowers are muted, and my microphone is turned up so the only vocals you hear are my own. This video done by request from killerandead and monkeylane99. I'm not really sure why I was asked to do this particular song. It's dreadfully boring on vocals - two notes covers literally half the song. The hardest part of doing this video was actually getting the overdrive activations working; for some reason you have to activate really, really early on every window on this song, which ruined quite a lot of my takes when I'd try to activate and the game would blissfully ignore me... As with my Spaceman video, I dropped 1 octave to avoid having to transition into and out of falsetto (thus saving your ears), since this song is just barely outside of my head voice singing range on the high notes. Ah, well, as always, let me know what you think.

I'm your big brother and that other girl is your best friend. Demi: If you insist. *calms down* David: Yeah, but. We're not the people you need to know about. Demi: Wait, where's my mom and dad. David: Their on another one of their stupid buisness trips. There gonna be here a.s.a.p. Anyway, the person you need to know about is Joe. Demi: Who's Joe? David: He's your...COMPLICATED boyfriend. Demi: What do you mean by complicated? David: Well, I'm sure you guys ar still together, you just aren't talking right now. Demi: If we aren't talking then how come we aren't broken up. David: Because you aren't talking. Anyway, you said you hated him and I promise I heard his heart break. Demi: God, he's sensitive. David: No. But, he is in love with you. Demi: Then why did I say I hated him? David: Because you were mad at him for leaving to go back home. I've never seen you cry so hard before. Or, react like that to someone leaving. Not even with mom and dad. You got so hurt. Demi: Why doesn't he call me if he want's to talk to me? David: Because, Dems. He got in a car accident and is in a hospital in Washington D.C. Demi: Is he okay? David: I don't know but that's the reason your here. Demi: I'm in Washington? David: No, I mean here in a hospital. *Demi tilts her head in confusion* David: The doctor thinks that you had a severe panick attack. Sel and I think you were panicking because of Joe being in a hospital. You fell, hit your head, went unconciouse and THATS what caused the amnesia.
