Parte finale del film Pink Floyd The Wall, trasposizione cinematografica dell'album omonimo. Sconsigliato ai più sensibili. In una stanza d'albergo, a Los Angeles, Pink, rockstar famosa ma con problemi di droga, rivive, grazie ad un film di guerra, i momenti più significativi della sua tragica esistenza: il padre morto in guerra quando lui era ancora in fasce, il crudele maestro di scuola, la madre iperprotettiva, la moglie infedele e le stupide groupies che darebbero l'anima per stare con lui. Tutti questi avvenimenti non hanno fatto altro che erigere intorno a Pink un muro psicologico che lo protegge dalle altre persone, ma che col passare del tempo lo soffoca. Pink, dopo aver portato con sé in albergo una groupie e aver distrutto la sua stanza, pone l'ultimo mattone nel muro, chiudendosi del tutto nella sua follia. Le persone che organizzano il suo tour lo trovano in condizioni disumane, e dopo averlo rimesso in sesto lo trascinano ad un concerto che sembra una parata nazista. Qui Pink marcia, seguito da agguerriti skinheads, sulle altre persone, raggiungendo il culmine della pazzia; poi, stanco di questa allucinante situazione, si autosottopone ad un processo in cui tutti i personaggi significativi della sua vita, rappresentati come grottesche creature, lo accusano delle sue infamie. Alla fine il Giudice Verme impone a Pink di distruggere il muro, riesponendolo così al mondo reale.
