Chapter 16 Hey guys! I have been grounded since the beginning of December! Long story.anyway! I am back and ready to write! Thank you to my subscribers who didnt leave me during my groundation.ha I just made up a word I think. Ok, so we left off with Kevin proposing to Jessica. Kevin chose his friend Jason back from New Jersey to be his best man, and Jessica chose Sasha her friend from Tennessee. Jason just flew in from NJ and everyone is at the airport greeting him. Kevin: When is he gonna be here!?!? Jessica: Dude, chill hes getting off the plane hell be here in a sec. Elizabeth: Yall must really be great friends. Nick: They were best friends for years! Julia: Why didnt you ever call him and check back with him. Joe: We were just really busy and we never had time. Kevin: I called him every once in a while but you know, time gets away from ya. Jason: Kevin! Kevin: Hey man! *they do some weird handshake that they must have made up a long time ago* Joe: Dude! We missed you! Jason: I know! I am really ticked at you guys for not getting in touch with me. Nick: Sorry. Jason: Ummguys? Arent you gonna introduce these pretty ladies to me? Kevin: Oh yeah! This is Jessica, my beautiful, fiancé. Jason: Nice to meet you. Kevin is a lucky man. Jessica: Nice to meet you too. Kevin talks about you a lot! Nick: This is Julia, MY girlfriend. So, stay away! Jason: *laughs* ok, ok, Ill try. Nice to meet you. Julia: *laughs* Nice to meet you. Sorry, bout nick. *looks at him* Jason: He loves his girl. Julia: I love my man! *kisses Nick* Joe: AND this is Elizabeth. Jason: Dude, you scored! Gorgeous! Elizabeth: *blushes* Well, thank you. Call me Lizzie, and Joe, why didnt you say something nice when you introduced me? Nick and Kevin said stuff. *puppy dog face* Jason: Yeah man! *smirks* Joe: Shut up! *hits him* Lets go back to the house. They all go back and goof around all day long. Nick and Julia go out to pick up pizza. Kevin and Jessica are in kevins roomhanging out.Joe is out renting movies. So, Elizabeth and Jason are alone in the Living room watching tv. Jason: So, you and Joe. You love him? Elizabeth: *shocked* Excuse me? Jason: Sorry, just trying to make conversation. Elizabeth: Well, if you must know. Yeah, I think I do. Jason: Oh, cool. Elizabeth: Why? Jason: I was just saying, youre beautiful, I am looking for a girl and.. Elizabeth: *gets up* Are you coming on to me!?! Jason: Well Elizabeth: Your friends girlfriend! Really?!? Chapter 51 Part 2: *Kims POV* Can you forgive me? Nick looked at me and his eyes pleaded for me to forgive him as he stuck out his hand for a handshake. I replayed in my mind everything that Nick had just said. I knew he meant everything he said to me as I looked from him to his hand. After a second of silence, I completely walked past Nicks hand and hugged him. I was just so glad that he didnt hate me and that he still wanted to stay my best friend. I think I surprised him because for a good second he just stood there, but he eventually hugged me back. He sighed a sigh of relief. Im so glad youre not mad at me. I pulled out of the hug and looked at him. Nick, I was never mad at you. I was just scared that I had lost a best friend. That would never happen. He smirked at me. Its impossible, and I cant have that. I laughed and crossed my arms. Dont you mean illogical? He smiled. Well its that too, but impossible fit the moment better. I laughed and jokingly hit him in the arm. I was glad that Nick and I could be back to normal well, semi-normal. There was still the lingering fact that he was in love with me and I wasnt with him. But he did say that he would handle that himself, so I guess were good. So, um, does Joe know, you know, about the kiss? I didnt want to ask that and dampen the mood, but I wanted to know if Joe knew. Nick looked down. Um, yeah. He kind of got mad but I left before he said anything to me. Hmm. I said as I sat down on the couch. Julie and Kevin know too. I said quietly. Nick looked up at me. Wow. We really arent good at keeping secrets. I chuckled. I guess not. There was a silence, not awkward, just quiet before Nick cleared his throat. So I was thinking, Im going to help you. I tilted my head. Um, help me with what? I want to help you get back together with Joe. I can see how happy you two are together, and when youre happy, Im happy, so thats the plan. I looked down. Wow, um, Nick thats really nice, but— No buts. You and Joe are too good together to let some stupid words get in the way. You guys will get back together, I promise. Nick— I said I promise. He interrupted. And I always keep my promises. I sighed. Fine. There is no point in arguing with you. Now you understand. Nick smiled. Nick and I just hung out and talked for a while. We just tried to forget the whole kiss incident and go back to being best friends like before. But I was still wondering about how Nick planned to help.
