~~Emillie's P.O.V~~ I sat on Anna's bed, extremely bored. Why did Anna and Carrie both have to have jobs? That was dumb. But I really knew it was because they were barely making it work money-wise. There was no way only one of them could work. I always hung out here during the school year, I barely ever went home. So now it was summer, and I spent all day here, doing absolutely nothing. I didn't want to go home. It was living hell over there. I turned my head and saw anna's phone on the bed-side table. I laughed to myself and went through it. She wouldn't mind, and I just wanted to see if she was serious about Joe Jonas calling. And if she was, maybe I could ask him something... There was one unknown caller under her call log and I pressed it. Why not? It was probably just some guy asking for a donation for a charity or something. Harmless. Then someone picked up the phone. It was a guy.. but I was sure after a second that he hadn't called earlier just to ask for a donation. ???: Hello? "Hi.. who is this?" ???: .. who's this? ( I decided right away to lie. I'm not sure why. I just thougth itt would be ebttter if he thought I was Anna.) "Uhm, Anna." ???: Oh! Joe told me about you, and he's probably gonna kill me for saying that but... (Hang on, that wasn't Joe? Who was it then?) ???: I'm Nick.. (He said it as if it was obvious.) "OH! His brother, right? Why are you answering his phone..?" Nick: Uhm, you wanna talk to Joe? (crap, I wasn't planning on this. I was just wondering if she was serious! I panicked a little.) "N-No!" Nick: ..okay... are you sure? (Then I heard a voice in the background and winced. this sucked. I strained to hear what they were saying. Nick:Hey, joe, uhm, Anna's on your phone.. Joe: Why do you have my phone..wait, Anna? Pass it...)(would he notice it wasn't actually Anna?) Joe: Hey, Anna...? "uhh,, yeah.". Joe:*pause* who is this? "CRAP! I didn't know you would notice!" Joe: okay, I'm lost... "I'm not Anna." Joe:I'm not THAT stupid. But who are you? "I'm her best friend, Emillie. I just called to see if she was serious when she said you had called." Joe:Yeah, she was..*pause* who else did she tell? "No one.. okay her other best friend Carrie, but there's no way we will tell anyone, I swear. I wouldn't give out your number or anything, if that's what you're worried about." Joe:*laughs* I like you, you're smart. (It was quiet for a minute and I wondered why Joe was still hanging on the phone. Then I thought of something. Anna's birthday was coming up. Actually, we shared a birthday. And she loved the Jonas Brothers, and I was right here talking to them...) "Hey, Joe...?" Joe:..huh? Yeah? "Do you like Anna too?" Joe: What?, uh.. she's nice.. "Would you want to meet her?" Joe: Yeah! That would be cool. "Her birthday is coming up.." Joe: How old is she? "20.." Joe: Oh okay, continue. "Glad I have your permission...anyways, soo it would be really cool if she could go to one of your concerts for her birthday." (I knew it was a long shot, but Anna would love me forever.) Joe:.. that's a genious idea! Would she really like that? "Yeah she'd love it. And you guys could meet. It would work for both of you." ~~Carrie's P.O.V~~ I walked in the apartment and heard Em talking to someone in the other room. For a second I thought she was talking to herself, but then I heard her talking baout concert tickets. My curiosity always seemed to get the best of me. I walked in Anna's room and saw Em lying on her stomach away from me with her feet in the air, the phone ot her ear and a notebook in front of her. "Who are you talking to on Anna's phone?" (Just then, Em hung up and turned over on her back. She looked at me and smiled.) Emillie: Guess where we're going tomorrow for anna's birthday? "Her birthday's not till next week, but where?" Emillie: you don't think I would know that? Anyways, I got us backstage passes to the Jonas Brothers concert. (My mouth dropped open. How'd she do that? Wait a sec,, who was she talking to on the phone? Emillie must've known what I was thinking.) Emillie: I was just talking to Joe and Nick. Joe wanted to meet Anna, so I mentioned that it was her brithday next week and yeah. It went from there. (I couldn't believe it. Now I couldn't wait until Anna came home. She would be stoked! Joe wanted to see her!!) Ohhh :) That would be so amazing:)
