"Get Me Through December" is one of my favorite songs from Alison Krauss' album, "A Hundred Miles or More". The whole album is beautiful and heartfelt; there are many folk songs and story songs. It's quite touching and really easy to listen to from beginning to end. This song stood out to me as a favorite, however, because of its message. I interpreted this song as a message of hope - no matter what a person has been through or has endured, there's always a new year, a new season, a new day to start again.
