*Natalie's P.O.V.* 14 New Messages: -im sorry- -you know i didnt know you were still with him- -its not my fault- -scratch that, it is. i should b 2 blame- -forgive me please!- -call me back,or text- -im sorry- -how are you going to get your phone back if i dont talk to you- -i know you are gonna read these- -forgive me!- -im sorry- -i think i've said sorry a billion times but, im sorry- -please!!- -just think, now you wont know what i had to let you hear- Wow. He did say sorry a lot. Mystery man was crazy. I didn't know he liked talking to me that much. And that last message got me. I looked through my contact list and stopped at his "name." I didn't know if I should or not. I couldn't decide. Right when I went to hit the green phone, my mom stopped me. "Natalie, have you done your homework?" Ah crap. "Ugh, no." "Well give me your phone, I know you'll be on it instead of doing your homework." Dang it! "No I won't. Don't you trust me?" "Nope, now hand it over." I reluctantly handed it to her. But I locked it because I know she wouldn't know how to get into it. I went upstairs and started on my homework. It was extremely hard to focus. All I could think about was him. And not Josh, but Mystery Man. Was Ann right? Was I falling for him? No, I couldn't be. I mean, I barely even know the guy! Well, I do, but not really. We've only talked on the phone. But still, I enjoy every moment listening to him talk. His voice was so sweet. Any time my algebra home work had an "m" in it, it would look like this: 3x+4myst....and then I would erase it realize I was writing his name. Ugh, I was going to have to call him. I think I really was falling for a guy I never even really met. I finally finished my homework with eraser marks all over it. "Can I have my phone back now?" "Is your homework done?" "Duh!" "Fine." She handed it to me and I ran to my room. I lay down on my bed and looked at his name on my phone. I couldn't dare wait any longer. I don't knkow why but my stomach started to get little butterflies. My heart started to speed up when I heard the dial tone. Finally there was his voice, "Finally you called!" "As if you didn't message me enough." I said. We both laughed. "Listen, I'm really sorr-" "I know I know. It was my fault. I mean, I shouldn't have just blew up. You didn't know. I was just mad at Josh." "Oh, why were you mad at Josh?" "He was just being....a little too much of a boyfriend if you know what I mean." "Ooooh, gotcha." "Yea. I really think I just didn't even really like him to start with. I realized that he was just going to be a friend." "Well, I'm here if you want to talk." "Thanks." "So, do you wanna hear it?" "Of course!"
