The self taught progigy never had one day of formal training, Instead he spent years working and perfecting his own style, techniques and trends. By the age of 19, Smith had a full blown career cutting hair, making more in a day than most make in a pay period. During 1994, Smith teamed up with partner and bestfreind DJ Kid Capri to open Eboneese a NYC based barbershop that surmised black culture and male finesse all in one.After a 10-year run Eboneese closed its doors , but as the old saying goes when one door closes the other opens" Curtis Smith became known for his camouflaging technique, precision cutting and tailoring.
