Hey everybody! I am really sorry about not posting in so long! but i think i did really well on the finals so i decided today would be a posting day! i will probably post 2 or 3 more today! i am also very hyper! (and if you don't remember what happen last time, Shawna found out Nick was in the hospital after she threw water on Chase!) ANYWAY! on with the episode! WITH NICK Nick: Mom, come on, please! Mrs. Jonas: Wait until the Doctor comes in and then you can ask. Nick: (sighs heavily and falls back onto the pillow) Mrs. Jonas: Nicholas, you are in a hospital bed, because you blood sugar got over what it ever has been, I think you can wait a little longer. Nick: I've been waiting ever since I got here. I'm pretty sure Shawna has heard I'm here and I want to tell her I am fine. She noticed I wasn't feeling good on our date. Doctor: (opens the door, walks in and looks back through it) I love you family Denise, but I don't know about Joe! Joe: (singing in the hallway) Can't touch this! (while running backwards across the hall and past the door, while shaking his finger at Kevin) Nick: (annoyed, sighs and rolls his eyes) Doctor: (turns to look at Nick) How are you feeling? Part of that program is a series of homework assignments that are meant to trigger massive change in your mindset, your work routine, your family life, your physical well-being, etc. Whatever you choose to focus on. The latest homework assignment is to produce 10 videos that explain our biggest frustrations in starting a new business. This is video #7. Whether its physical, mental, emotional, business, personal, spiritual... We all reach plateaus. Points in our growth where we remain at a certain spot for an extended period of time. I remember in an athlete training program I volunteered for (The Athlete Within, on YouTube), that there were points where I remained at the same body fat percentage for a few weeks. Then something big would happen that would send me over the top - change the game, and I would start to make progress again. It is these plateaus that are so tough to deal with. These are the places where most people quit. They reach the edge and step back instead of leaping off. This has been very frustrating for me in building my business. When I left The Rich Dad Company, Kim Kiyosaki said to me "I've never regretted a leap I've taken in my life." Just that comment gave me the confidence to move on and begin a new chapter in my life. I can recognize, now even more quickly, when I reach a plateau and can make a change to get beyond it. So, take a look at the video and let me know if it resonates with you.
